I am a Remedial Reading and Language Arts teacher (CT certification due June, ’15) making this blog to showcase “picture books” which are suitable for high school students and adults. I teach as an Academic Support teacher at a parochial high school in Connecticut and am a former elementary teacher (B.A. from Bowling Green State in Dec. 1990) with a Masters in Teaching from Sacred Heart University (2009). (I also have 3 children all of whom loved to read/to be read to when little!)
